Japanese professor's bag goes missing

Dhaka, Dec 19 (402 zia hall du)
A Japanese professor has lost all his belongings at Dhaka University's TSC.
The scholar was having his lunch at the TSC cafeteria on Monday when the bag went missing, his interpreter Jainal Abedin said.
University's acting proctor Amzad Ali told bdnews24.com it was an embarrassment for the university.
Masahiko Togawa, a Hiroshima University teacher, came to Dhaka to join an international conference at DU. He had dollars, yen, laptop, camera, passport and valuable documents in that bag, Jainal said.
Proctor Amzad Ali said the university would give the professor all the necessary help to get back his visa and other paperwork.
"We try our best to give foreign guests the maximum security," he said. "But some miscreants are always there," he remarked.  source : bdnews24bd
